This questionnaire is being used to help identify organisations for the ‘Best Science Based Incubator’ award which will be presented at the 2009 conference on ‘Best Practice in Science Based Incubators’ taking place in Stockholm on 19 and 20 November (for more details please visit the conference website (www.technopolicy.net/sbi).
CSES (Centre for Strategy and Evaluation Services), a UK consulting company, is responsible with the Technopolicy Network for running the Best Science Based Incubator award scheme. The award scheme:
The award scheme, now in its eighth year, has proved extremely popular with entrants from Europe, the Far East and North America and the antipodes.
There are six award categories:
- Return on Public Investment
- Self Sustainability
- Fastest Growth
- Most Promising New Incubator
- Good Practice
- Overall ‘Best Science Based Incubator 2009’
Apart from valuable publicity, the location of the overall winner has in most years been the venue for the following year’s conference.
