The award scheme, now in its 7th year, has proved extremely popular with entrants from Europe, the Far East and North America. There are six award categories – Return on Public Investment, Self Sustainability, Fastest Growth, Most Promising New Incubator, Good Practice and an overall ‘Best Science Based Incubator 2007’ award. Apart from valuable publicity, the location of the overall winner has in most years been the venue for the following year’s conference.
