Examples of work we have undertaken at EU level include:
- Interim Evaluation of Erasmus Mundus Programme (DG EAC) - CSES performed the first ever evaluation of this programme, which seeks to promote higher education in Europe as a world-class reference and to strengthen co-operation in the field of higher education with third countries.
- Interim Evaluation of Comenius I Schools Partnerships (DG EAC) - the CSES team carried out this assignment which involved a survey of 1,400 schools across Europe and field research to assess the extent to which the Comenius programme is achieving its core objective of promoting cross-border partnership working between schools.
- Key Competences for Lifelong Learning (DG EAC) – the work, carried out by CSES, involved facilitating the work of a peer learning review group, reporting back on progress to the key competences cluster group and analysing the responses to a pan-European consultation on Schools in 21st century Europe.
Examples of work we have undertaken in the UK include:
- Feasibility Study for Transmanche Business School – the CSES team investigated the feasibility of setting up a cross-border network combining business schools and universities from Kent and the Nord-Pas de Calais
- Evaluation of LSC Norfolk Co-Financing Plan – CSES undertook an evaluation of this new scheme for delivering ESF-supported adult training.
