The Sunrise Valley science park and technology incubator was formally opened in Lithuania in December 2008. In 2005, CSES carried out a feasibility study examining the proposition of going ahead with the park. This involved assessing the costs and benefits of realising the initiative and producing a multi-stage management and development plan for the park. For the first phase of its development, the park received over LTL 10.5 million in EU Structural Funds assistance.
